The Colors of Fall

I love Autumn. I love the colors, the leaves, the cooler weather. It's nature at it's best. I took my daughter to one of my favorite spots to have some fun. We collected leaves, pine cones and sticks. She brought along her new stuffed animal that the Tooth Fairy gave her for her 1st tooth. We laid in the grass and waited for the wind to blow to leaves and then tried to jump up to catch them. It was one of those nice days where we didn't have to rush anywhere and just enjoy our time together. We need more of these kinds of days.  Love it :)

My Sweet Boy

Sometimes things happen for a reason. This sweet boy had been neglected and in need of a  home. And now he is my sweet boy. I couldn't be happier with how things have turned out. And I think he is happy too.

Sunflower Heaven

Today was a nice day to venture out with my daughter and camera. I have heard about a sunflower field in the town over from me and set out to find it. And I'm so glad I did. It was amazing and more beautiful than I imagined it would be. The field was huge and butterflies were everywhere. Thank you to the farmer who put the time and care into this field. It makes people like me take wonder in what is around us.

Little Angel

I was so excited when my clients contacted me about their new arrival. They had been waiting so patiently for him to arrive. Beautiful baby boy. It's so sweet to see new parents and their baby. It puts a smile on my face. To capture these precious moments is such a pleasure for me. Congratulations to the new family. You are so blessed.

May Flowers

I love the month of May. Spring flowers, wonderful weather, a sense of growth. My daughter and I love to go into the fields and pick flowers. And even though everyone says that they are weeds, we love dandelions. Mostly when they turn into "wishes". We watch a lot of Tinkerbell movies, so we know that those "wishes" can turn into faeries which is pretty awesome. We tend to forget that the world is so magical. My daughter reminds me of this. It's a blessing to see things through her eyes. My hope is that she will always see things this way.

Baby on the Way

When I was asked to photograph this maternity session, I couldn't have been more excited. First time parents that are anxiously waiting for their baby due next month. They didn't know if their precious baby is a boy or girl, which makes things more exciting!
They will make wonderful parents and their pup Leo will make a wonderful big brother. Blessings to the new family.

Spring is Coming!

It's March. In New Jersey, it's barely Spring. We had snow just a couple weeks ago. But the sun is beginning to shine and we found a perfect day to so a session in a small wooded area. I love this time of year when everything starts to bloom, there is more time in the day and the children are just itching to get outside. I am too :)

50 Years

I had the pleasure of photographing a surprise 50th Anniversary celebration! I'm happy to say that they were totally surprised and had a wonderful time surrounded by loving family and friends. They even renewed their vows and had a replica of their wedding cake. Bright blessings to the happy couple!

45 Years of Love

This lovely couple braved one of our coldest days so far this winter to have their portraits taken for their 45th Anniversary. They both love trains, so we traveled to New Hope, PA to have their session at the old train station. I had such a nice session with them and learned a bunch about the train. I wish them many more happy years together!

Popcorn Park Zoo

In June of last year, I had the opportunity to volunteer my services at Poprcorn Park Zoo . This is my one of my favorite places to take my daughter. This local zoo provides a safe place for wildlife that can no longer survive in their natural habitat due to injury, illness or abuse. We love to visit the animals and are able to feed some of them popcorn that the zoo provides. Each animal is so loving taken care of. Its a great place to enjoy part of the day and a great rescue to support.
